Glasgow Caledonian University
The School of the Built and Natural Environment, Glasgow Caledonian University, is the largest Built Environment department in Scotland. Within the past three years, funded research projects led by the School include a £137K EPSRC grant as well as an additional linked EPSRC project studentship; a £340K EPSRC/DETR grant to investigate the Private Finance Initiative; a £220K EPSRC/DETR grant in the field of ‘Value Management’; £280K EPSRC grant for research in Moisture Prediction, £220K on Teaching Company Schemes and £350K from the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council (SHEFC) to establish the Centre for Advanced Built Environment Research. It has a very strong track record in research completion, supervision and management.

Open University Business School
The Open University Business School is one of the largest in the world, with around 30,000 students in 40 countries and over 9000 MBA alumni. It's MBA is accredited by AMBA and EFMD / EQUIS. Kier Northern is part of the Kier Group, a major construction company which operates throughout the United Kingdom and overseas. Employs 6500 people and have an annual turnover of £960m. Kier Northern operates across all sectors of the market, the company offers a wide range of services on projects ranging from £250,000 to £15m. Have recently designed and built for Tesco, in just 36 weeks, a 60,000sq ft award-winning store. The first and largest of its kind in the UK. National House Building Council (NHBC)
The NHBC is the independent regulator and standard setter for the new homes industry. Over 18,000 house builders who construct approximately 85 per cent of the new homes built each year in the UK are registered with NHBC. They also provide a range of services to help the construction industry improve construction standards, on site safety and care. Association for Project Management (APM) .
The APM is the premier professional body for project management in the UK. It has over 10,000 members nationally. The contact person is David Burton. He is the Chairman of the Yorkshire & North Lincolnshire Branch. He has extensive knowledge and experience of project management. He has a background in Quantity Surveying and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has experience of working in collaborative research projects and has worked with the Lead proposer in previous research projects.

CABER Represents over 450 specialist researchers in the built environment and is committed to providing research-based solutions for consortia of industry and client organisation. The contact Person is Dr. John Hinks is the Director of CABER. He has substantial experience of managing industry-academic collaborative projects, and undertaking and delivering research led solutions to industry users.

Arup.
Arup, an international consultancy, was established more than 50 years ago and has worked on many of the landmark construction projects of the century, from the Sydney Opera House and Pompidou Centre to major infrastructure projects such as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Tony Sheehan is Group Knowledge Manager and Associate Director of Arup, a global design consultancy responsible for projects as diverse as the Sydney Opera House to London's Millennium Bridge. Balfour Beatty
Balfour Beatty is a major company serving the international markets for rail, road and power systems, buildings and complex structures. The group is structured into four business sectors, and in each is able to work right across the supply chain, from initial concept to whole-life management.
