Kirti graduated from the University of Pune, India
in 1995 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. She
worked as a graduate architect in an architectural
practice in India. She then briefly worked at UMIST
as a teaching assistant in the Department of Civil
and Structural Engineering, before enrolling for
the EngD programme in the Department of Civil and
Building Engineering, at Loughborough University
(July 2000-July 2004). Her current research work
evaluates the business process implications of e-commerce
in construction organisations. Kirti is also expecting
an MSc from Loughborough University in December 2002.
Her MSc dissertation topic was 'E-Commerce in Construction
- Barriers, Enablers and Potential'.
