Background
Dr Ezekiel Chinyio started
his academic life in 1987 and has a
continued interest in research. He
is currently a senior lecturer with
the University of Central England in
Birmingham, UK. Prior to this post,
he worked with Glasgow Caledonian University
as a Post doctoral research fellow,
where he played an active role in studying
knowledge transfer and risk management
in ‘private finance initiative’ projects.
Dr Chinyio has written chapters in
a book and published about thirty articles
in refereed international journals
and proceedings of international conferences.
He has also edited the proceedings
of an international conference, co-hosted
international conferences and workshops
and refereed articles for journals
in the built environment discipline.
Dr Chinyio is associated with the Chartered
Institute of Building and the Chartered
Institute of Arbitrators, both in the
UK, and the American Association of
Cost Engineers.
